In July 2014, the estate was purchased by husband-and-wife team Layne Robert Craig and Brenda Hetman-Craig. Layne — with roots in prairie farming — and Brenda — skilled in business and management — arrived with a shared vision: to respect the land, craft clean, honest wines, and build a sustainable vineyard that reflects place, climate, and care. Over time, they expanded the vineyard to 24 acres and committed to organic, biodynamic, and plant-based practices that nurture the soil, respect the environment, and elevate the quality of the grapes.

Through our long relationship with 40 Knots, we have completed Business Strategies, Market Development and Market Research Plans, which influenced the brand developments. We worked on and created the 40 Knots line of label designs, as well as the specialty labels and the Stall Speed labels. In addition, we further developed their brand through promotional materials like logo development, business and wine cards, brochures, rack cards, wine glasses, wine bags, farmers market stall, etc.
