good people

The Centre for Seafood Innovation (CSI) provided valuable experiential learning opportunities to post-secondary students while supporting innovation among seafood entrepreneurs. Following three successful years, many initiatives were continued by industry, First Nations and Vancouver Island University. In the three years of CSI's operation, it completed 24 projects, organized 19 events, and provided experiential learning opportunities to more than 300 students.

good work

We began working with VIU on the development of the Centre for Seafood Innovation back in 2018 through a feasibility study that surveyed the B.C. seafood sector. The study looked at other models of seafood innovation centres across North America. Following that, and with the support of the Ministry of Agriculture, we followed the feasibility plan with a Business Plan for the centre's creation and operation. Once the Centre received additional funding as part of the B.C. Government's commitment to developing new food hubs across the island, we began developing a brand identity, logo, website, and marketing materials. From there, when the Centre wanted to launch the Seafood Business Accelerator Program, we worked on the brand identity, website, and marketing materials for that initiative.
