Yakiniku Sauce

Yakiniku Sauces, based in Kamloops, develops authentic Japanese barbeque sauces.

Yakiniku Sauces was an intense exercise in cultural intersection. We worked closely with the client to develop a brand and logo that was authentically Japanese (in reflection of the client's roots/history, but also the products' roots), but which would connect with Canadian audiences. We created a brand identity that we believe hit those marks and that we love to revisit. For the client we developed a logo, new labels for her three products, and a website with e-commerce functionality.
