Seasonal Sales Sheets

If you’re planning to promote seasonal products or limited-time offers to retailers, it’s a good idea to create a separate sales sheet for each season.

Seasonal doesn’t only mean the holidays, although those are important. You may also have products that align naturally with the time of year. For example, summer items like smokies and sausages, or winter offerings such as soups and warm beverages.

Retailers often plan promotions well in advance. To be considered, you need to have your information ready early. This includes clear, well-designed sales sheets that make it easy for buyers to understand what you’re offering.

Take the Christmas season as an example. Your seasonal sales sheet should be ready before September. That means planning ahead for:

  • Which seasonal products you’ll offer

  • Required ingredients and production volumes

  • Packaging and any special displays

  • Pricing and margins

All of this should be finalized before you approach retailers. You’ll also want to clearly outline ordering details on your seasonal sales sheet, including:

  • Order cut-off dates

  • Minimum order requirements

  • Expected delivery timelines

Clear, well-timed sales sheets help retailers plan with confidence, and make it more likely your products will be included in their seasonal promotions.

Collaborative Marketing at Farmers’ Markets: How to Sell More Together

Farmers’ markets can sometimes feel like a solo effort. You pitch your tent, stock your tables, and wait for the customers to start coming through. For many vendors, that is where the strategy ends.
